As a User Acceptance Tester, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and usability of software applications during the development lifecycle. Your insights and expertise contribute to the successful delivery of reliable and user-friendly products.
Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
1. Responsible for tracking defects and ensuring appropriate resolution.
2. Collaborate with development teams to address issues promptly.
1. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with real users.
2. Conduct review sessions with stakeholders who will be using the application.
1. Write and maintain detailed test cases/scripts aligned with user and business needs.
2. Ensure test scripts reflect intended functionality and workflow.
1. Participate actively in all testing phases, including planning, designing, scripting, execution, and reporting.
2. Organize functional and end-to-end testing, providing valuable feedback.
1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
2. Review user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications.
1. Oversee the entire testing process, from test planning to continuous integration.
2. Assign project priorities within the department.
1. Preferred relevant degrees include Bachelor’s and Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Business, Education, Technical, Mathematics, Information Technology, Business/Management, or Natural Science.
1. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
2. Understanding of business processes, financial systems, and inventory control.
3. Proficiency in issue and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
4. Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft and software development lifecycle procedures.
5. At least 2 years of IT experience as a UAT or QA Tester.
6. Exposure to UI and CRM systems.
7. Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Eclipse, JSON, Maven, JIRA, TestRail, SQL, and Python.
8. Knowledge of Google Analytics, Salesforce, and Adobe Experience Manager.
